Great place. We saw a show last year that featured this vegan place, and had to see for ourselves. We came from Toronto to try the cauliflower wings, the steak mac and cheese and the Louisiana chicken. Everything is vegan and delicious. Portion sizes of the mains were ginormous.Service with Nicole was great. Also, a very friendly staff member was cleaning the restaurant and he was great too.Overall, it was a great place and we were glad that it was so convenient to the airport. We almost thought it was closed because it is just SO dark with the black windows. It's a good thing that we got out of the car to check, as normally we would have just looked for somewhere else. Anyway, it was great.

In the past, vegan restaurants have been hit or miss for me, so I approached Modern Vegan with some hesitation. But let me tell you—it exceeded all expectations. The food was fantastic, served quickly and piping hot. We ordered the Skillet and cauliflower wings, and both dishes were incredibly tasty, with portions perfect for two people. The tofu scramble in the skillet was a standout—warm, flavorful, and like a comforting hug for the taste buds. And the grilled potatoes? Easily the best I’ve ever had in a skillet. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, that’s to be expected with most vegan spots. It’s definitely worth checking out!Vegetarian options: Too good. Worth all your $$

I usually visit this restaurant while attending an annual convention. The food is (for the most part) good, which is why I keep coming back, and it’s always great to know everything on the menu is vegan. The service is incredibly slow, however, even if there’s not many people in the restaurant. I’d say budget about two hours if you want to dine-in. I’d wager if the menu wasn’t so large the kitchen would have an easier time. It also feels a bit on the expensive side for what you get. Also, the banana split was a little... funny looking
